Tiny solutions, big impact

 

The world's population is expected to rise to 9.8 billion people by 2050, yet our natural resources cannot keep pace. We need to find innovative and sustainable ways to feed and fuel the world.

 

Novozymes’ enzymes and microorganisms may be too small to see with the naked eye, but these tiny wonders can help solve great global challenges.

Palmora®: for more sustainable palm oil production

From soap and cosmetics to cookies, chocolate and margarine, demand for products containing vegetable oil is growing. That translates into an increasing need for palm oil as it is the world’s most widely used vegetable oil. It is important to squeeze every drop of oil out of the palm fruit as well as make the process as sustainable as possible for the future.
